EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW!
Chemical Engineer Mark Basile - The first scientist who found thermite
in the World Trade Center dust discusses in depth his process of discovery
using the scientific method.
This interview is some raw footage of one of the world class experts appearing in architects and engineer's upcoming hard hitting documentary
"911 Explosive Evidence - Experts speak out"

Just kicks ass

What a great interview. Just terrific. This series of interviews is very powerful.

Articulate,

convincing, great job !

Succinct, Clear, Powerful!

Mark Basile's presentation is clear as a bell. Thank you, Joe, for posting all these accounts of the epochal research of Basile, Farrer and Jones.

Thank you, Mr. Basile, for your courageous work and example!

Mark Basile

Thank you for speaking out. These interview series are groundbreaking.

Previously on 911blogger: an interview by WKNH Keene's 'Empire Watch' radio show in New Hampshire: Chemical Engineer Mark Basile Discusses 9/11 WTC Dust (Has a link to downloadable mp3, and a transcript)

Thanks Joe, for putting this up.

:o( Coming back soon I hope. Thank you Mr. Basile for speaking out.

"Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired, signifies in the final sense a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and are not clothed. The world in arms is not spending money alone. It is spending the sweat of its laborers, the genius of its scientists, and the hopes of its children. This is not a way of life at all, in any true sense..."

Alternative video?

Here is another video Mark Basile, perhaps the same one? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=frIpyTBAV_Y

The post should be edited to put up the alternate link

I would hope the moderators or initial poster would edit this post to put up the alternate link to this interview that you have provided here.

See

This is the new Mark Basile upload from AE911Truth, same interview, different hyperlink.

Perhaps Joe can update this post?

MODERATORS!

Can you replace the posted video with the one that works?

Thanks!

Thanks!

video response idea

Or maybe the list of videos I got (below) could be given responses by ae911truth. I'm a supporting member.
Cheers, Mark

Thanks, I needed that

I also noticed this was put up by CIncinatti911Truth, and I think it would be great if they could post this as a video response to the other youtube "Chemical Engineer" videos there. Hey, let's make chemical engineering important!

1) Probably should personalize each response title text, to make sure it appears as a direct response to each original video posting. And I might have one or two duplicate authors that need to be removed.

2) Might want to get copies of the other AE911Truth videos at the cincy list, too. Well, just some thoughts - I don't have any youtube (or otherwise) videos. Cheers - Mark

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QpAr9XHvzCs You might be a chemical engineer if....

This is

a smart idea.

Thank you for saying

Youtube has so many tactics of its own. For this video, they don't recommend any 911 videos, but they recommend all chemical engineering videos. I have also noticed when using youtube search the results are so non-911-related when compared to doing a site search of youtube using google. Also, the way that those morale-busters fudge hit counts.

Ok, so we can manually respond. Starting with chemical engineering videos, giving personalzed reponses, and then moving on to civil and structural engineering videos. I think the makers of the videos will be the ones who have to watch, yes? So maybe its a way of getting people in chemical, civil, structural enigneering to look? Cheers, Mark

Outstanding interview

This is going to be one powerful DVD. The truth is rising.

excellent

excellent

This guy is honest, smart & to the point

wow.

thanks for posting, I feel so much stronger about the thermite chips after hearing this & knowing another independent scientist did his work.. & he wants MORE to study it.

Whew, I needed that.

Whew, I needed that.

Excellent! NB:Nano-thermite is higly explosive

His comments regarding traditional thermite not being explosive are correct. Nano-thermite, however, can be used as a high explosive which is more powerful than traditional high explosives. See for example http://ammtiac.alionscience.com/pdf/AMPQ6_1ART06.pdf and https://e-reports-ext.llnl.gov/pdf/318263.pdf

I agree

And it has been argued that the carbon matrix inside the red material is specifically for the generation of gas.

However, something can only be regarded as 'high explosive' once the gas velocities start to exceed 1000(m/s) (1 km/s)

The way an explosive's ability to 'break stuff' is measured, is called brisance, which is related to pressure-volume work

When I see this clip:

I don't think I see a 'high explosive', but, we are looking at a remnant of a once larger chip. It is reasonable to believe the remnants were qualitatively inferior to the portions that were actually consumed in the collapse. There is internal disagreement within the team of scientists as to the likely function of these chips, where prof. Jones feels they may have been igniters, or, in jargon, superthermite matches. Reportedly, prof. Jones got a chip to ignite using an electrical stimulus.

No matter what, these high sophisticated chips had no business in WTC dust. As Dr. Farrer explained, the DSC 'popped off' while paint chips just fizzle and crumple, yielding a wide peak, whereas the NT chips show a narrow, energetic peak, just like Tillotson's nanothermite, which was also tested in air. (And not in vacuum or an 'inert gas')

Nano-aluminum particles more expensive than gold or diamond dust

Mark brings out a good point, that nano-aluminum is a controlled substance, and very difficult to manufacture or obtain. Therefore they are very expensive. Critics who allege that the WTC dust samples might be "seeded" with nano-thermite particles, should remember that this would be very expensive and difficult. It would be much easier to seed them with gold or diamond dust. Truther scientists don't have the military security clearance, money, nor motivation to seed the samples with nano particles.
